Entry 1

Last night, you swear you saw a log cabin deep in the woods. Yet the next morning, it was gone. 

Your friends think you're crazy, the whole village has never heard of such a thing, and not even your family believes it.

"A cabin? In the woods? Our woods? The same woods of the town we've lived in for generations?"

It's there. You know it is.

What did you see the other day? How did you see it the other day?

Right... 

A full moon.

That was what was different.

And what a coincidence, there's a full moon out tonight too.

You've exhausted your chances of convincing others to join you.

Guess that just makes it you.

There's a log cabin deep in the woods. You swear you saw it.

Entry 2

Your steps feel heavy against the wooden planks as you walk reluctantly towards the hall. *Thump* *Thump* Each step echoes loudly into your ears as if amplified by the deafening silence of the room. *Thump* *Thump* And now the sound of your heart breaks the silence as you stand still.

Slowly, the door behind you shuts, creating a loud thud that disturbs the rhythm before.

Darkness.

Ironic how on a full moon there is not a single ounce of light that shines through any of the windows.

*Click*

Old. Colonial? Odd. The first three words that come to mind are based upon what your light revealed. This place gives an uneasy feeling. It is wrong and you certainly do not belong.

*Thump* *Thump* *Thump* *Thump* *Thud*

The door... won't... open...

Time has passed since your mistake of coming here. Your heart finally settled, yet still elevated from what would be considered as normal. Your torch, although new, constantly flickers. 

There is writing here that you do not understand and the furniture feels far from what would be considered modern. Perhaps most unique of all was a door.  Etched across the wood were symbols you have not ever seen before. But the oddest part about it was how they glowed at your finger's touch.

As mentioned before: this place is wrong and you certainly do not belong.
